FCA118R: Blind Alleys ANSWER

Ready for the answer to this week's Mystery Monday puzzle? Check after the jump!

The "maze" of roads in the puzzle was a red herring. The hint of the word "Blind" in the title, and the phrase that the Mom "can't see" should lead you to look at the stop lights and see that the lit circles form Braille. Left to right the Braille reads N 51 30.410 W  0 0.632. Hopefully the "N" for North was enough to clue you in that the roads didn't matter.

At the final coordinates you'll find the sculpture known as "Traffic Light Tree" by French sculptor Pierre Vivant. It is over 26 feet (8 meters) tall, and consists of 75 traffic lights that light in random patterns. The sculpture stood near Canary Wharf, at the junction of Heron Quay, Marsh Wall and Westferry Road from 1998 to 2011 but was removed part of the remodeling of the area. It was placed in its new position in 2013.

How did you do with the puzzle?
